Alessia is a Double PhD student at Western University (Canada) and Università degli Studi di Genova (Italy), where her research focuses on how urban environments can adapt to climate change, particularly wind and temperature-related hazards, using Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD). With a background in Architecture (BArch) and a Master’s degree in Architectural Engineering (MSc) from the University of Genova, she is passionate about bridging architecture and engineering to develop urban spaces that are both sustainable and adaptable to climate extremes.
