I have a B.Arch and M.Arch degree in architecture from the University of Waterloo. I became interested in how the design of buildings alters the wind inside and outside in my 2nd year of undergrad. I became interested in learning the science and specificities of wind and came to Western University to expand on that. Here, I am creating a workflow for the multi-scale design of sustainable neighbourhoods. This workflow considers different wind topics at multiple scales and how they are impacted by geometrical design choices. The approach is based on the theory that cities are organisms and each part, no matter the scale, plays a role in the functioning of the whole.
